We are Rachel + Daniel (+ Carlton).

I am Rachel Gulotta.

I'm currently based in Downtown Los Angeles in an old loft with my main squeeze (Daniel) and french bulldog (Carlton). I'm the self-proclaimed former air drumming champ of the Midwest. If I had to choose between morning or evening, I’d pick late afternoon. I have a Bachelors degree in Literature, and it makes a wonderful bookmark. I love most things—including but not limited to— classic literature, good design, days off, satire, traveling, finding the perfect present for someone, crafting, late night jogging, photo styling, dads who rollerblade, dads who rollerblade well, editing video, twinkly music, Bukowski poems, hoarding hobbies, long bike rides, dinner for breakfast and vice versa, jean jackets, free shipping, new places, smashingwordstogether, blending paints, comeback tours, writer’s blocks, new people, really old people, severe thunderstorms, finally realizing a word I’ve been trying to remember, good grammar, ethically sourced clothing, renaming everything, staying in, and writing.

He is Daniel Inskeep.

He's a Full Sail Recording Arts graduate, former studio servant and then TMG video editor, and current Jumpcut Motion Graphics Artist and second shooter/boyfriend/best friend of Rachel Gulotta. He's really into iced coffee, 90s pop-rock, racquetball-ing, guitar-playing, gear-lusting, arrested development-quoting, Cola LaCroix, thinking up things that should exist, hardware stores, buying things online to get mail, recording bands, and pretending he's on Chopped.

And he's Carlton.

**Daniel and I are currently focused on teaching other photographers and filmmakers how to hone their skills on our YouTube channel and in our courses and workshops. Our schedule doesn’t really allow us to book weddings far in advance anymore, but we’re still willing to make it happen when we can!**

My biggest dream has always been writing. My pipe dream has always been photography + video editing. It's pretty neat that I get to do both, and it's more than pretty neat that I get to do what I love with my best friend. Neater still is the fact that Daniel is bursting at the Levi's seams with talent and creativity. Anything I can do, he can do 8,000 times better. 

Our style sits and stretches between the lengths of natural, candid, emotion-filled, and detail-centered. We love people, and music, and places, but mostly we just love finding what makes our subjects unique, human, and noteworthy and exploiting the life that is jam-packed in each of them.

When it comes to weddings, we're not for everyone. We take on work that inspires us and fits our natural light aesthetic. We're not glamour. We're not Pinterest-y. It's not what sparks our creativity. We crave the handpicked, intimate, buried-in-nature-or-tucked-away-in-a-small-corner-of-a-huge-city, you-get-the-point weddings + elopements. Beyond couples who put their hearts and souls into the details of their wedding days, we simply love love. We love couples with heart and stories to match. It's those relationships that can't be bottled and bought. That's what we're after.
