Nate + Jo >> Yosemite Elopement

Nate + Jo decided on Yosemite on a sort of whim. Neither had ever been, but they knew they wanted an intimate elopement in an epic place. They totally nailed it, too.

What we quickly learned about Nate + Jo is that they are chockfull of humor and life. Both qualities are around every corner with them. Separately, they are each wildly creative forces, and it always makes me feel like the world is okay when I watch two people with so much to offer create a super team.

Their morning started early. I mean really early. They got ready together in a cottage in the woods and first-looked as night turned to morning. They wrote their vows, got a couple of cars, and drove to Taft Point to get married on what really felt like the edge of the world. After, they spent the rest of the day perusing the park and getting complimented by strangers. The whole thing was so sweet to witness, and we're so honored they chose us to capture it for them.

David + Liv >> Married

David + Liv's wedding will go down in (our own personal) history as one of the greatest weddings we've ever attended and / or photographed. 

The morning started in their bright, artfully designed Hollywood home with tea shouting on the stove and bumbling chatter brimming throughout their living space. I was first greeted by their dog, then their warm friends and family. It set the tone for one of the loveliest days of our year so far.

For their ceremony and reception, they chose the Wattles Mansion in the Hollywood Hills. It was meaningful to them for a handful of reasons, but mostly it was a blank canvas that allowed them to spill their Kinfolk-inspired vision across every inch of the space. 

It was very important to them to infuse Liv's Scandinavian roots with David's Jewish traditions, and the result was an aesthetically pleasing design overflowing with meaningful traditions. It was, by all accounts, a perfect celebration.
