I would be hard pressed to find two people who have the same live-in-the-moment lease on life that Aldo + Sara have. They met at a wedding when they were in their early twenties and were instantly smitten. After Sara's 30th birthday party, they reconnected and made a 6-week dating contract that quickly turned into a lifetime commitment. The rest is history.
I could shoot their wedding every weekend. When an architect marries an event planner, the result is basically the most aesthetically pleasing wedding that ever existed. Their ceremony was beautifully laid out in the courtyard of the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum where classic literature was read throughout it, and their reception followed at the totally decked-out-in-nature modern industrial space of Ovation. Black and white silent movies projected on the walls while popcorn and hors d'oeuvres floated on trays and ping pong tables were prepped to play. It was the closest I might ever get to Gatsby.
