You might remember Josh + Kate from one of our most favorite A Day in The Life Sessions ever.
In October, they got married in one of the best ways we could imagine. They flew us out to Kate's parents' gorgeous home in Southampton, NY. The same home that can only be accessed by winding country roads and was built with Kate's father's own two hands was decked with twinkle lights, a big white tent, and a million tiny personal touches. Their first look took place there under a bunting that Josh made for them before they headed to the world's prettiest synagogue (according to me), beaming with light and love and wooden everything. After their sweet ceremony ended, they headed back to Kate's old home and were received by their closest friends, family, and a backyard party that we were previously sure only existed in 90's movies.
The night was capped off with a vintage canon shooting off blasts of newspaper into the night. We couldn't begin to dream something like this up, but were so grateful to have the opportunity to capture it for two of our favorites.
