Bob + Ali >> Married

A rainy day. A seemingly abandoned aquatorium. A pair of wonderful humans. A wedding totally unique to the two of them.

It took place just a few miles away from the town where I grew up, but it was like no place I'd ever seen. It was an open air vintage cement structure just off of lake Michigan jam-packed with their closest friends and family.

When guests arrived, they grabbed a mug of their favorite beer and headed to the ceremony. Bob and Ali were escorted up and down the aisle to live music played by three of their close friends. Speeches took place over iced coffee and cupcakes. They played a first game of ping pong together as a married couple in lieu of first dances. It was so perfectly them.

Chad + Jaci >> Married

It's finally here. Our last wedding of 2014 has hit the blog. It was the only way I'd want to end our season.

Chad and Jaci are two of the most down to earth people we had the pleasure of working with last year. Equal parts kind and hilarious and insanely adorable, they were a blast to shoot.

Their wedding started on a cloudy day at the end of December. We hoped for snow and hoped harder for no rain. Jaci got ready at The Waldorf Astoria and Chad got ready nearby at a downtown apartment with a view. They spent the rest of the day together, enjoying each other and their city before their evening ceremony at City View Loft. The rest of the night was spent surrounded by friends, family, and a mariachi band. It was so them. It was so perfect.

While Daniel missed out on this one while he was attending a family wedding, Nicodem Creative stepped up and helped us end the year right. My favorite moments from the day are posted below and have several frames from Andrew Nicodem sprinkled in. Be sure to check out their work, too!
