I love these two (three, if you count Scooby). So so so so much.
For starters, Matt is a photographer. We've been lucking out like that a lot this year. He gets it. Light. Location. And everything in between. All we did was show up and shoot. Perfect.
As if that wasn't enough, Matt + Kristine are two of the sweetest people we've ever met. I don't just mean in terms of clients. I mean in terms of people. They're so down to earth. So connected. So genuine. So refreshing. My absolute favorite part of their session happened when we found a parking space in a neighborhood where you have to put up a hefty fight to get a good one. Matt + Kristine both thought we might have accidentally taken a spot that someone else had claimed. After Matt had tidily parked us, he forfeited our spot and continued looking for a different one just in case. We don't really run into anyone like that around here, but I wish we did more often. Total gems.
Finally (the real kicker), they're straight up gorgeous (duh!). Kristine is one of those outstandingly beautiful people who doesn't seem to notice. She's nervous in front of the camera (as if it could ever take a bad frame of her), but obviously killed this session.
I'm so, so, so stoked for their wedding this August. In the meantime, this session will easily tide me over. We started in their (perfectlyyyyy well lit) apartment and ventured around their old campus/stomping grounds. We ended the session with gelato. It ruled.
