I can't begin to explain how much I love this couple and wedding, but what I can say is that Justin + Tracy promised a whimsical Bohemian art museum wedding with Middle Eastern flair, and boy did they deliver.
The day we met Justin + Tracy to talk wedding details they casually laughed about the fact that they weren't quite yet engaged. Looking back, I can only imagine that Justin's was more of a nervous laugh as he was concealing her engagement ring in his pocket, ready to draw it out a few blocks down the street from our place when they left. That kills me.
Their wedding took us to Elmhurst, IL. The morning started in a tiny greenhouse, followed by a stroll past the library where Tracy spent lots of her childhood, and ended in The Elmhurst Art Museum. There, they paid homage to Justin's family's time spent traveling in the Middle East. They said their vows atop a Turkish Kilim of reds, blues, and yellows in front of a wooden screen wrapped in greenery. They laid out Syrian lamps and strategically placed tiny brass and wooden animals from around the world. The food, of course, had a Middle Eastern flair. However, the best part of all was probably the fact that Tracy carried a small camel charm that Justin had collected on his travels when he was a young child on her bouquet all day.
I know I say it a lot, but I don't mean it any less. This is easily one of my most favorite weddings. Ever. Below you'll a tiny selection of all of our favorite frames from the day because Daniel wouldn't let me post 500 photos.
