A Day in The Life Sessions will easily always be our favorites to shoot. Brendan and Julianna confirmed that for us once again.
You really get to know people. You get to find out what makes them laugh, what makes them comfy, what makes them love. In a few short hours, you'll find their personalities stretched across a series of images unique to only them. It's the best.
We met Brendan and Julianna the day we shot them—the first time that's ever happened for us. We quickly learned about the things that mattered most to them—their homes and families in the Pacific Northwest, music, education, each other. I could go on. We immediately saw a closeness between them that grew as the day carried on. Again. These sessions are just the best.
We started the day at Longman & Eagle, a tucked away gem in Logan Square that Brendan had been itching to try. By the looks of it (and them) it was worth the wait. We then traveled downtown to get our fix of city lights and skyline backdrops. We ended our session at Julianna's beautifully gothic University of Chicago campus and a nearby beach. It ruled.
